I have the F2-220. When going to logging in to the TOS 4.1.X OS. For some reason, it throttles my CPU on my pc (not on the NAS) to 100% usage (using chrome). Still happens when I switch browsers. The only way I can prevent this is to sign in using a VPN. Even then many of the options are unresponsive. I tried to reset to factory default. I click the check box hit the apply button and nothing happens. Same result trying to reset configuration, and manual update are unresponsive. I also noticed the rear fan is not spinning.

You can reinstall the system after exporting users and user groups and backing up the system configuration by referring to Method 2 in the following link: viewtopic.php?f=75&t=423
Have you set the smart mode of the fan?
The TOS system will get the device status every five minutes.
If the temperature is low, the fan will stop for five minutes to save power.
