olbat/cupsd and USB

I have an F5-221, which I am hoping will replace my aging HP Microserver.
The one sticking point is connecting my, equally aging, Samsung ML-1520 laser printer.
I have it running fine on Ubuntu, on the MicroServer, so know it is possible.
I have installed Docker, and created an olbat/cupsd container.
I can access the CUPS web interface, and the ML-1520 drivers are there.
But I have two issues, that I would love a bit of help with. Oh, and my Docker skills are rated as n00b.

- How do I get the USB ports to be available to CUPS?
- What are the correct folders for the Volume tab, so the settings are saved?
