rsync backup cannot use TNAS.online url

I have two new F4-220s connected to my network. I have successfully used rsync to backup data from one to the other using the destination of local IP address. Separately, I have successfully accessed the destination NAS using the TNAS.online/NAMEHERE forwarding url. However, when I try to use that url as the destination for the rsync backup, the test function gives an error code that I don't understand. It appears to be looking for some kind of file in an app folder at TNAS.online, then failing when it's not found. See attached for error code details.
Please advise.

Hi,
TNAS.online is only used for web login, you can resolve other domain names.

Please expand on this reply. Is there another TNAS provided url that does work with rsync? If so, how do I set it up and configure it?

Hi,
You can directly use the IP in the local area network.
The remote use of the URL requires you to set your ddns in the remote access of the desktop, and then use the router to map the port of the rsync server.
