RAID synchronization, very bad performance

Hello, I just received my F5-422 / 10 Gbe.
I installed on it 3 Exon HDDs of 16Tb each.
The RAID 5 synchronization is currently in progress (I'm at 10% after 3 hours of installation).

For the moment the write speeds are much worse than on all my other systems, almost unusable.

Is this normal considering the RAID is under construction? I don't have to worry about it?

Thank you!

During RAID synchronization, device performance will drop a lot. You better wait until it finish.

@etienne

I just rebuilt RAID 1 on F2-221 using ext4 on 2 x WD 4tb Reds. The synchronization process took 13 hours and 10 minutes. I don't recall how long it took when I originally built the RAID 1 using BTRFS but it seemed to take less time.
