F4-220, initial setup - "your accound has been disabled"

I have a brand new F-220 (1GB). I have gotten through the initialization steps to the point where I have created a user account and password. However, when I go to login after creating the account I get the message "Your account has been disabled. Contact your administrator." I then went to the Forgot Password? link. The enter user account/email address does not recognize my user account and returns a message that there is no such user.

Please advise.

Hi,
1. Are you using the admin account and password? (Wrong input?)
2.without any hard disks, turn on the F4-220 device and TNAS PC finds the device, click login, then follow the instructions on the page reinstall the TOS system

At first attempt, the TNAS OS allowed me to make a new user name/password. This is the combination that produced the error message noted above. (I found a supposed default login of admin - Admin123. This did not work at any time.)

In following the instructions from the reply above, I found the following: The NAS was not visible to the TNAS software on my PC without the hard drives mounted in place. Before changing any log in details, I was able to reconnect the hard drives and re-install the OS.

At this point, some update must have happened that didn't take with the initial installation, because this time the OS required that I create a login under the user name 'admin.' I created a password for this user name. I was then able to log into the NAS as normal.
