X86 TOS4.2.09 Release Note
This update includes following bug fixes for the previous version.
1. Fixed the vulnerability of Rsync;
2. Optimized the write speed of 10GbE Lan port;
3. Fixed the failed updating issue of some initboot system.

Important Notes
This update is only suitable for TOS 4.1.27 or above.
This update is not suitable for TOS4.2.X Beta.

How to update your TOS?
1. Download the update package:
For X86 models: https://dl.terra-master.com/cn/TOS_S2.0 ... 281021.bz2
2. Go to TOS> Control Panel> General Settings> Update & Restore, and click “Manual Update”;
3. Click "Browse" to select the update package;
4. Click "Apply";

How to reinstall TOS?
Installation package link:
For X86 models: https://dl.terra-master.com/cn/TOS_S2.0 ... 281021.ins

1. Log in to TOS and go to TOS Desktop> Control Panel> General Settings> Update and Restore> Backup and Restore;

2. Tick "Backup system configuration" to back up your system configuration;

3. Go to TOS Desktop> Control Panel> General Settings> Update and Restore> Restore to Factory Default;

4. Tick "Restore to factory default", and then click "Apply"; your system will be erased, but the data on the hard drives will not be deleted;
5. Refresh the browser page, and follow guide on the page to install a new TOS;
6. If the page refresh fails, please use TNAS PC to search for your TNAS device; Then select the device and click "Login"; Follow the web page to install the new TOS;
7. After the system installation is complete, log in to TOS and go to TOS desktop> Control Panel> General Settings> Update and Restore> Backup and Restore to restore your backed up system configuration.

DONT UPDATE IF YOU USE DOCKER. This update erased all my Docker data, and now the application won't work even if I rebuild the containers from scratch. I've uninstalled and re-installed the app, rebooted, etc. and nothing fixes this issue.

Thanks for optimizing the write speeds. I can confirm write speeds using SMB over a 10gbe link are around 500MB/s for large files.

I have a F4-210 in Rais5.
It doesn't go farther than the screenshot

Sorry, Due to our negligence, the number of docker images used in the test is not enough, which causes this problem after you update. Some dockers, such as unbuntu, nginx, jdownloader, etc., can be used normally after the update. We just verified again, the handbrake, busybox image has your problem, but we can download the image and run it again. Is your docker in the start state or stop state in the application center? Some docker images may need to reconfigure the original file instead of using the previously run configuration file. You can try to change the name of the docker folder in appdata, then uninstall and reinstall Docker. Note: Some images may need to configure the most original configuration file.

are we expecting a 4.2.09 to be available for the F2-210 or are they now going to be out of step until you decide to release a 4.2.10?

No issues with this update on my F5-221. Had to turn off Telnet again, but seems that the rest of my config stayed in-tact. No issues with my Docker container. It was there and running/accessible after the update (just a small/simple sabnzbd).
