Good afternoon.
I am new to the terra-Master eco system and i am not very tech savvy when it come to network issues.

I can access the Volume1/users on the web gui but not when I try to map it to my pc.
I have managed to set up my NAS but i would like to map my pc to the Volume 1/users folder so that i can edit the plex data ( transfer settings from my old pc to the NAS).
I can only map to ( public, appdata and admin).

Any help would be appriated.

i dont think you can do it this way as i don't think you can login as the plex user (that i know of)

on the assumption you have connected to your nas drive in windows with a username and password if you navigate to it you will see a folder with your username in it

so the address would be \\nasipaddress\username to access the users folder so the \users\username is hidden from a remote point of view and you can only access the users folder that you have authenticated with

however i guess you can copy the folder from the PC to the Public folder, then using the file manager from within the web config panel you can copy and paste from public into the plex folder

Hello,
The plex folder is the configuration file of Plex. It is not recommended to edit it frequently because it is prone to problems.
You cannot directly map to the plex folder, but you can download the configuration file you want to edit, modify it and upload it to the Plex folder. Or copy it to another shared folder that can be mapped, and replace Plex after modification.
