Upgrading from FS-221 to FS-422 - Possible to use existing raid?

Post by PressedHot »

Hello, as the title explains, we've been using the FS-221 for a while now but recently purchased the FS-422 and I'm hoping that I'm able to somehow use the existing 3 drive Raid that's already running in the FS-221, in the new 422 but it seems like all the options I'm finding only allow me to use these 3 drives if I format them first.

Is there a way to insert these drives into the new FS-422 without formatting them first?

Thank you for any assistance!

Hello,
You can try to insert the three drives into F5-422 in the order above F5-221, and then turn on F5-422. If it still doesn't work, please let us know.
