Just bought the F5-422 on Black Friday. Got it in the mail and put in some drives i had laying around. First run through one drive failed and the other said at risk. I hooked them up to a computer ran diskpart to clean them one failed(trashed it) the other went fine. Pop it back in the F5-422 and it sometimes comes up at the HD Checkup but i cant get past this screen. When I try to start over it only sees the drive maybe 15% of the time. What am I doing wrong?

I do not think you did something wrong, just check with thiryparty tools https://www.jihosoft.com/free-utilities ... %20Sectors. or try a low level formatting your drive and try again, if still fail, you need to replace it with a new drive.
