[Help] Problem with random disconections of domain
Posted: 28 Oct 2026, 02:31
Hello, we have two of T9-450 with TOS 7, currently with 7.0.1298.
But this problem/bug comes from TOS 6, after upgrading to TOS 7 it becomes more frequently.
The issue becomes in domain server is not in same network as nas, is behind a vpn, when disconnections occurs we don't have registry of interruption of connection with domain server, o domain server network.
For some reason, terramaster loses connection with domain,
Stop daemons or services of connections, reset smb config files, and forget it was join to a domain,
Check of join domain is unchecked, and connection with domain is not restored.
Using Gemini, and locating the smb files, from terminal if we restore the smb-domain, and from terminal test join, domains is working, but ui is still getting that is disconnected, and permissions does not show domain users.
Gemini suggest that some random cron is causing the issue, but there is no cron task,
Maybe is difficult to reproduce, we also can't reproduce it, it just happens randomly every day, some times more than one a day.
If there any logs/files/locations that can we share or locate to get diagnose.
Thanks,
Best regards
