When creating/uploading files/folders using the web interface. It allows you create a multiple files or folders with the same name, but different capitalization. These extra files/folders can't be accessed in Windows. My Netgear NAS doesn't allow this even though it also uses Linux. I think this should be fixed for Windows compatibility.

TOS7 is case-sensitive, which is consistent with the behavior of Linux systems. By default, its SMB service is case-insensitive (case-sensitive = disabled), which means that A.txt and a.txt are treated as the same file.
You may want to enable case-sensitive SMB so that files with both uppercase and lowercase letters are displayed correctly when accessed via SMB on Windows. However, this setting may cause some Windows applications to malfunction or run slowly when accessing SMB network drives.
Procedure:
Go to TOS > Control Panel > SMB > Advanced > Custom, and add the following configuration:
case sensitive = yes
