Re: My current TOS is 3.X, how to update to the latest version?
" 1. It's recommanded to backup your data before updating.
2. The applications may have to be reinstalled after TOS update."
This IS our backup. Why should anyone even buy your devices if the data kept on them cannot survive a driver/firmware/TNAS OS update?

Re: Want to update an outdated TOS system (4.1.27 or earlier)?
I have a very old version on my F220 - TOS 3.0.19.
1. What is the TOS upgrade path, to bring it fully up to date? Reading the posts in this thread, it seems I need to do some intermediate updates before updating to the latest version.
2. What is the update procedure? Please note that at the moment I can only see the TNAS F220 in a browser (directly logging in via IP address), The device is not locateable via the TNAS PC application (Mac version 3.1.2).
Thanks for any suggestions.

I can only access the TNAS device in the web interface (TOS Desktop). In other words, TNAS PC is not working on my network - the desktop application does not find the device. In that interface, I don't see a Control Panel. All documentation I can find shows that the upgrades are done via the Control Panel.
My existing TOS version is 3.0.19

Re: Want to update an outdated TOS system (4.1.27 or earlier)?
I already saw this article. My question is more basic:
1. Are manual updates (using the version files that are listed in the forum thread) installed with the TNAS device Control Panel?
2. my device does not show a Control Panel. The web interface, which I can get to with a browser, using my NAS IP address directly, takes me to this location - http://192.168.1.242:8181/3.0/index.php. In that window, I can see “File Manager”, “Applications”, “Recycle Bin”, “DropBox Sync”, and “iTunes Server”. There is NO “Control Panel”. Clicking on “Applications” just brings up a dialog box for installing other applications. “Control Panel” is not among the applications.
Could there be a problem with admin permissions?

Model F2-220. I’m sending a picture of the bottom labels, with serial number, to you via email.

Hi, my system (F5-221) has version 4.1.30.
Could I go directly to 4.2.32 or I should install 4.1.31 first?
Thanks
Giorgio
