F5-220 initialization fails on 55%

Hello,
Brand new F5-220 with 5 used HITACHI HUA722010ALA330 1TB disks.
Tried initialization
through webpage and TNAS PC
Auto download and manual download file 4.1.30
full 5 disks and single HDD connected.

With 4.1.30 installation starts and stops briefly after at 55% with message "Installing TOS has failed! Please start TNAS and try again"
With 4.1.27 it installed normally, and so did the update to 4.1.30. However due to previous approach a single disk was used, rebuilding and upgrading RAID1 will take ages. stupidly has only TOS is installed.
Regards,
JC

What's the RAID mode did you configure for your 5 HDDs?
TOS update will not lead to RAID rebuilding usually unless the hard drive is missing from the RAID, and they system will repair it automatically.

Hi,
Installation ran with only one disk phisically attached and RAID1.
now the other 4 phisically connected and are being added to storage.
currently disk 4 is being added and RAID was upgraded to RAID5.
Possibly I would better make a complete re-initialization has only TOS is installed. Faster and causing less stress to hardware.

Hi, taliesin. You don't have to do that. The new RAID is the same as the updated RAID.
