CloudSync

Finally remembered this one, it would be helpful if a CloudSync task had a checkbox to not run at system startup.
I have my devices shutdown for 4-5 hours each night. I also have CloudSync task that I want/need to only run once every 7 days.
Well after each reboot the tasks runs, so instead of every 7 days, it runs every morning.

Thanks for the suggestion — and you're right, this is a real gap in CloudSync's behavior.
Right now, CloudSync tasks are triggered on system startup, regardless of the task's polling interval. So even if you've set a task to run every 7 days, a reboot will cause it to run immediately. If your device is shut down nightly, this effectively turns a weekly task into a daily one.
That's not the intended behavior for scheduled tasks, and it's something we should fix.
Adding a checkbox like "Do not run on system startup" to each CloudSync task is a reasonable and useful option. We've logged this as a feature request.

A more positive step might be for it NOT to run on start up and provide a check box to allow it to run on start up.

The current design is to remember the state from before the restart. The checkbox you suggested — one that allows customers to choose whether to run at startup — is a good idea. I will forward it to our product team for evaluation.
