Prevent to wake unplugged raid after sleep

Hi there,
I have D5 Thunderbolt 3 and the monitor connected to it.
The monitor is used all the time, but Raid only when needed, sometimes only a few times a week.
After I unplug the raid via RAID Manager Pro and out my Imac on sleep mode and then wake it up the raid start to spin the disks, although iMac does not determine the raid itself until you press "Rescan" in Manager panel.
So question is - is there a way to prevent D5 from starting disks after they have been disabled until I reboot the D5 or press rescan or something else.
It cannot be that to access the monitor it was always necessary to turn the discs on.
