[Help] Cloud Backup ignores Polling time in upload direction

I have a Hetzner S3 Object Storage Bucket that I use as an off-site backup for basically my entire NAS.

The correspondinh task is set to "upload changes only" and I have a polling time set for 5 hours.

My problem is that TOS completely ignores the polling time and immeaditaley starts uploading the files as soon as they are stored on the shared folder, even as the file transfer is still running, slowing the copy process and conjesting my network.

Is there any way to delay this or make cloud backup strictly adhere to the set polling time?

To help us look into this:
  • Which version of CloudSync are you currently using?
  • Could you share details or screenshots showing how this backup task is configured?
This will help us determine why the polling interval is being bypassed and provide the appropriate solution.

CloudSync Version: 4.0.063
TOS Version: 7.0.1163

I've added screenshots showing how the task is configured:

And another screenshot showing that the task already logs uploaded files while I'm still transferring...causing the transfer rate to drop from 20MB/s to under 10MB/s

Please open the terminal and enter the following commands:

Code: Select all

cd /usr/local/CloudSync/

Code: Select all

touch CloudSync.log
Then restart the application and restart the task.

Next, enter the following command:

Code: Select all

cp /usr/local/CloudSync/CloudSync.log /Volume1/public/
Finally, retrieve this log file from the public folder and send it to [support(at)terra-master.com] for analysis.
