Hi,

Hope you can help me with a solution. I have upgraded my TOS6 F4-423 system to TOS7 and after everything was set it crashed. After a rebuild and trying to install Tailscal, it serves a 404 page not found error when I try to open the 'Support & help' link in the application manager to add this device to my current tailscale devices.

I already reinstalled tailscale, upgraded tot the latest version: 1.102.3.0 installed on 2026-08-30
Also included the removal of all config files during uninstall and reinstall process.

No luck. I can't remove tailscale manually, can't start it manually.

Can some one help me getting tailscale working?

Thank you for the detailed information.

Since you have already performed a complete uninstall/reinstallation of Tailscale and removed its configuration files, we recommend not repeating the installation process at this stage.

We would first like to distinguish between the Tailscale service startup issue and the 404 error reported when opening “Support & Help.”

Please provide the following information:

1. TOS version
Please provide the complete TOS 7 version/build currently installed on your F4-423.

2. Tailscale status
Go to: App Center → Installed → Tailscale
Please let us know whether the application is shown as enabled/running and whether an error appears when you try to start it.

3. 404 error
Please attach a screenshot of the 404 page, including the browser address bar if possible. This will allow us to identify which web endpoint is returning the 404 response.

At this stage, please do not reset the NAS, reinstall TOS, or modify the storage pool. These operations are not necessary for the initial diagnosis.
