TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released

finally we updated the F2-422 from 6.0.229 to the 6.0.530 with the update package from the first page, no loss of data and automatically to the 6.0.535. So far so good. I have one problem, I uncheck the password restrictions and while the toggle is off, the system still applies the password restrictions, is that a bug?

I'm confused about one thing: is this version considered beta or not? I have a F4-423 running 5.1.145 and it doesn't offer a direct update, so I'm wondering if it's not considered ready for prime time just yet. Or will it always have to be installed manually, as this post says?

Since not all device models with TOS 5.1.145 are compatible with TOS 6, we do not push upgrade information. You can manually upgrade to TOS 6 after confirming your device is eligible on the first page of this thread.

You can achieve the desired effect by enabling “Password Restriction Rules” and disabling all options.

So I guess we are still waiting for some kind of patch that will allow updating the 221 series from the TOS 6.0.229 that we are stuck with to whatever tos 6 version?

The sad fact about their marketing approach is to bring out new models and then make the latest software only compatible with the new devices, sure it may work with some but all it does for me is to make me start looking for other brands that don't hold their customers to ransom.

i noticed that the local email SMTP server doesn't seem to work, whey I try to send test email it says "failed to send email to the following.." any idea how to fix this?

as far as i know no one has been able to fix the local smtp yet. wich is ashame.
