I get a prompt saying if I wish to proceed with custom installation all my data on my hard drives will be deleted. The same message flashes up for auto install as well. Is this correct?

Removed previous TNAS, installed latest 5.0.23 and still it could not locate device on the network.

TMroy please respond to my detailed post yesterday about install of TOS. Also, can I revert back to TOS 4.0 and have it find my previous media folders (Plex) and run Plex? If so I think I will also go back to TOS 4

I am also disappointed that after a year of promoting and Beta testing TOS 5.0, this rollout is so bad and unreliable.

Just wasted an hour trying to install TOS 5, managed to get TNAS PC 5 to install and run so thought I would give TOS 5 another go, but on clearing the old system I got "bootloader failed to install" so tried to load the TOS 5 I had already downloaded but when browsed for and selected it will not appear in the bar, tried several times even with the old TOS 4 version, I think it downloads with the wrong file extension, so tried to change it but still not go, TOS 5 is just one big pain after another now I can even load up TOS 4, so I am now totally stuck!!

Been trying again, but I think the problem is apart from the fact that the bootloader file won't download automatically is that even if you download the TOS file from your website ( and the TOS 5 is not available only the TOS4) the file is an INS file and the bootloader screen is looking for a *,img file.

So I now have a machine that I can't use at all!
