And after the reset my RAID started synchronization. 2% after 2 hours, not bad.

I think I have found a small bug or feature. As soon as I have root access (via putty), I can run apt update and apt upgrade. Unfortunately, after that the system no longer starts because many errors occur during the update.

Thank you for your feedback! The issue you fed back has been added to the list for verification and improvement. But your remarks are puzzling. Don't you know that you are participating in the beta version test? If you need a stable version, why don't you continue to use TOS 5.1?

Want an honest answer? Because i read everywhere that TOS was the worst OS around for NAS, so i hoped that version 6 would be something better and when i bought my F4-424 pro i didn't know properly how to install a different OS.

Thank you for your report, we will verify it.
By the way, to protect TOS system, you can run apt update, but not apt upgrade. If you run apt upgrade, the upgrade will be blocked, but it should not cause the system to fail to start.

The early versions of TOS did have some defects, which were criticized by many users. However, TOS 5.1 has made significant improvements, and you can try TOS 5.1 yourself. Of course, TOS 6 will be even more worth looking forward to.

Yes, if I log in with my normal name it blocks it, but as root user (e.g. by installing entware) I was able to perform the upgrade.

As much as I like the look and speed of TOS 6. I am finding that some apps are not working right all I get is when click on is [ access denied - log on tos with admin account ] which I am using. Also cannot activate SMB, When tick box to enable it will not let me apply. And can not when using tnas pc app map network drive, it says username or password incorrect.
With all this happening is it possible to go back to TOS 5.1.145 . Which worked well for me.
Unfortunatelly the latest TOS6 beta introduced a complete new root system and app management. All the community apps must be rebuilt as independent version only for TOS6

And there appear to be all sorts of odd issues with installation and enablement of standard apps on a new bare installation of 6.0.420.

I'm not sure what happened sadly, I updated my f4-423 to .420 from the previous 6.0 beta. My storage pool took quite a while to sync (which is pretty normal) and now says normal, but my volume says it's corrupt and I can't access anything.
I tried following the steps here:

but have been unsuccessful so far, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
