According to this article:
https://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hard ... 4-423-nas/
Neo Forza DDR4 SODIMMs (model NMSO416F82-3200EA10) work fine with f4-423 and TOS5.
Can anyone confirm this?

F4-423:
I removed the 4GB stick and replaced it with 16GB stick, I've also added another 16GB stick in the other slot however when I power up the device I hear a single beep that repeats every couple of seconds, and no LAN indicator shows. Can you tell me what I need to do to correct this? Thanks, John

I simply jumped ship and abandoned TerraMaster. I not only posted here, I emailed as well. Never got a reply about them intentionally blocking RAM from other vendors.

Deceitful and despicable. Best of luck all.

This is not an airport. Nobody needs to know about your departure.

And I didn't need your opinion about my post. Alas, welcome to freedom of expression. Hardware locking bad. Price gouging bad. Failure to respond to customer bad. Terrmaster bad. Happy Holidays =)

TerraMaster memory stick price cut,16G from $159 to $99, 8G from $99 to $69, haha, I think they heard your voice.
https://www.amazon.com/TERRAMASTER-T6-4 ... to_dp&th=1

If the original TM memory can provide reliable quality and after-sales service, then this price is acceptable, from my point of view.
