May I ask which version your TNAS was running before updating to this version? Also, please check the system dashboard to see if the system is sluggish.

Hypercache sorted with crisisacting's post, many thanks. Openclaw can only be installed manually.

this maybe related to TOS 7 in general rather than the 0777 release, but i noticed that my Jellyfin no longer had access to my libraries, even though i told TOS to auto convert the permissions

while it seemed that the higher level folder had Jellyfin permissions, the subfolders / files did not, i had to go in and use the advanced options to get the permissions to inherit, all working again once i had realised it was permission issues but thought i would just mention it incase other people have the same issue

yeah i noticed plex permissions as well so probably the same issue
if you need help, go to Control Panel, Shared Folders, Edit the shared folder, Permissions Tab, Select Application Users
click the check box to Customize for the Plex User
tick the check box "Apply to this folder, subfolders and files"
Click apply

this should then spend some time (Depending how many files you have) setting the correct permissions

Thank you for sharing your experience and detailed information.

We have confirmed that this issue is related to the permission inheritance mechanism during the TOS 7 upgrade process. In some cases, the permissions of the parent folders were converted correctly, but the permissions of subfolders and files were not inherited as expected, which caused applications such as Jellyfin to lose access to media libraries.

This issue has been identified and fixed, and the improvement will be included in a future TOS version.

We appreciate your feedback and for sharing the workaround with the community. This information will help other users who may encounter similar permission-related issues.

there are actually a lot of processes there, but I found that the drives go to sleep when I turn off smart

Code: Select all

systemctl stop smartmontools.service
I know it's not a great solution, but nothing else helped
Additionally, in the smartmontools logs I noticed that the process queries the disks for temperature every 30 minutes, maybe this is the reason for waking up?
We will conduct a verification of the matter you have brought to our attention.
I can confirm that this fix worked for me too and my HDDs are now sleeping peacefully.

I reported this during beta but it was ignored. I had to recreate everything and then migrate all the files.

Is there any plans to update portainer? My portainer shows 2.24 which was released November 2024.
