I am also having the same issue as others with excessive CPU usage causing the TOS page to be nearly unusable.
I installed TOS 5 the other day, using the 5.0.135 initialization installer. Everything was going fine, until I restarted my NAS and then it seems like it decided to index all the thumbnails (I have 11TB of pictures and videos). Now my TOS page is basically lagged out and I cant access the 'desktop' part of TOS unless I wait a LONG time ( 30+ minutes), when i did that, it said the ThumbnailDaemon was using most of my CPU. I did not enable and never have enabled media indexing and no applications are installed.

As you can see in the image my NAS has been at 100% usage for 17+ hours since the first restart that caused this.

In TOS 5.0.135, media index is enabled by default and all shared folders are added to the media indexing directory. If you don't need it, you can go to Control Panel - Media Index to disable it.

Useless. Even after disabling media indexing CPU load is high

You can sort processes by CPU in Control Panel - Resource Monitoring - Processes. Check which process takes up the most?

Hi
I've set up my Drives and they are showing as Volume1, withing the Volume I set up two Shared folders Movies and the other TV Series, I also have set up a link to my PC to show the Volume1 drive in my File Explorer, I can upload from file explorer no problem and have just finished a day and a half uploading my content to the shared folder, I've installed Plex and searched for the folder but there are no subfolders to be found, the main folder is shared and all subfolders are just folders with content inside, I've also tried just using one shared folder with just one movie inside, but still nothing, can anyone please advice what is happening cheers
Tos 5.0.135
Plex 1.27.1.5916.1

You need to go to the control panel to set the shared folder permissions for the media user group.

Sorry to ask and I appreciate it is being worked on, but is there any news on when we might get a fix for the df mount issue?
Are we looking at days, weeks, months?
I’m lost without my Plex
