Without docker manager, can I still install docker via terminal?

Just want to update. All is still working well. I am also using Duple for backup from a F4-223 to the newer F4-212.

crisisacting wrote: 01 Jul 2025, 07:17 There should be a patch released for this vulnerability posted @ viewtopic.php?t=8640, since an architecture isn't specified within that post; it'd likely be a point release, not a full non-beta one for TOS 6.× on ARM.
Thanks, the link doesn't work btw.
They have a new thread about the vulnerability @ viewtopic.php?t=8644
still goes nowhere

viewtopic.php?t=8644

this doesn't do anything

It did at the time of that post, as did the previous one when it was posted; they keep taking that particular vulnerability's threads off the community, probably because users with TOS 5.× and early TOS 6.× builds are asking for a fix that TerraMaster seemingly are refusing to make.

Hi, do you still remember the keywords mentioned about the vulnerability? The link might have become invalid due to recent forum section restructuring - I can try searching for it.

It’s been almost 4 months since this ARM “Beta” launched with zero functional updates. A beta is supposed to be a stage for development, yet ARM users are still stuck with the bare-minimum early build, no dev features, no Docker, no Emby, while x86 keeps moving forward.

From where I’m sitting, there are only two possibilities:

A: You released the earliest, least-functional ARM build you could and haven’t touched it since.

B: You’ve run into a weird, unexplained roadblock in porting your own existing work over, and instead of addressing core functionality you’ve been changing HTML/CSS to some goofy stuff with the number 6 instead of a 5. Nobody here cares about minor UI tweaks. You could literally drop Linux on the box and most of us would be happier. You’re not Apple, and most of your user base aren’t home users with kids who just want to share photos, most of us are developers.

If the holdup is something bureaucratic, I get it, maybe you’re waiting for government paperwork (cough communism cough), but I’m an American consumer, and right now my $100+ hardware is a brick.

If there’s a real reason this is stalled, share it. If there’s a roadmap, post it. If there’s neither, just say so. Four months of silence isn’t beta, it’s abandonment.

Thank you for your interest in TerraMaster!
We haven't given up on the TOS 6 ARM version, and system maintenance is ongoing. We haven't yet determined a specific release date, so please be patient.
