In the meantime, I did set the file as immutable and it seems it does the trick until you fix it.

SMB in this update is unstable. nas freezeing and cannot be acessed. all we get in error log is SMB unstable.

i've not experienced nas freezing via smb or rsync in this version 6.0.555 on F5-221

Try configuring static host file on the nas of you network pc's
"/etc/hosts".
and mounting with ip to eliminate any dns issue , helped me, i think...

For some odd reason, my GuC is disabled in this disable
cat /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/gt/uc/guc_info

Maybe you could identify your system (model/Tos version) so someone can make sense of what you are stating.
