Your device model and current system version meet the upgrade requirements, and you can upgrade to TOS 6.0.530.
This upgrade will not erase the data stored on your hard drives. However, since this is a major-version upgrade from TOS 5 to TOS 6, some system configurations, such as usernames and user permissions, may be reset or removed during the upgrade. You may need to reconfigure these settings after the upgrade is complete.
To avoid any unexpected issues, we recommend backing up your important data before upgrading and recording your current user accounts and permission settings so that you can restore them afterward.

Hello everyone. Does anybody has a .ins file for this TOS 6 version (or any other stable one) so I can install it fresh from an Init USB Boot?
My device is a F2-221
I appreciate it

You can directly install the latest version of TOS 6, which is 6.0.794:

Hi
I'm wanting to upgrade my F2-423 from 5.1.145 to 6.0.530.
I see in the Warning it states "The presence of an M.2 SSD may affect the update. Please remove the M.2 SSD before updating.". I have two NVMe's installed currently. One with Hyper Cache and the other with the OS.
I can disable Hyper Cache and remove that NVMe, but what do I do about the one with the OS on it?

In TOS 5, all hard drives contain the TOS system. If you plan to upgrade by uploading the 6.0.530 upgrade package, you can first back up the data on the NVMe SSD and remove it before upgrading. After the upgrade is complete, format the NVMe SSD and insert it back into the NAS.
In TOS 6, you can choose which drives the system is installed on. In versions after 6.0.770, the System Disk Management feature was introduced, so you can migrate the system back to the NVMe SSD.
