As much as I find TOS 6 very cool, I was faced with the decision to downgrade back to 5.1 due to a lot of community apps I had installed that just stopped working or had imcompatibilities. As with anything: Upgrades breaks things because libraries and dependancies change. I get it; but I will give it a shot again soon, and maybe I can contribute to porting over some of the community apps to TOS 6. That leads me to questions for this post:

Questions:
1) Is there release notes to the .420 release? That would definitely help us understand what was fixed, enhanced, etc... . I am apprehensive to go back to TOS 6 without any notes, because several of my installed apps did break or did not function as intended.
2) Where can I find information to build out the community apps. I see there is currently one person doing it, but I would like to join the one person team (Lol). Is there a special compiler, or any information on how to create the TOS package?

As much as I like the look and speed of TOS 6. I am finding that some apps are not working right all I get is when click on is [ access denied - log on tos with admin account ] which I am using. Also cannot activate SMB, When tick box to enable it will not let me apply. And can not when using tnas pc app map network drive, it says username or password incorrect.
With all this happening is it possible to go back to TOS 5.1.145 . Which worked well for me.

If you have been "in software development for ever", what don't you understand about BETA?

If you don't know what it means to replace the root file system, let me tell you this way: Due to the replacement of the root file system, almost all library files of TOS have been replaced, almost all components have been updated, all interfaces have been adapted, plus the improvement and optimization of the UI. There are more than 2000 items modified in total, so TOS 6.0.420 is a completely new beta version. Are you sure you need to know all these items on a list?
