This UPS is not on our compatibility list and we cannot ensure its availability.

I'm not familiar with this particular model, but it may have been attached to other equipment previously and may need to be re-configured to work with TM nas.

Secondly, the symptoms you mention sound something like the ups is performing a self test. (goes on battery power for a short time and then returns to mains). Nas might be seeing this as a power failure and not restoring power correctly. Check the nas power settings on the nas. You may need to inhibit nas shutdown for a period of time (as long as self test takes) to fix this. It is usually possible on APC units to disable self test if preferred . If necessary attach to a desktop unit with apc software (free) installed to check the configuration.

I changed the UPS setting on the NAS to "until low battery", the power blip was that, unit was on UPS for 5 seconds or so. I will attach the UPS to my computer to see what I can do about self-checking options and such.

Can confirm TOS version 6.0.519 on F6-424 Max, using CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD behaves as described above when connected via USB. System will recognize the connection and populate the UPS portion of the "hardware & power". Over time it will depopulate UPS information and syslog shows timeouts for communication. It is indeed on the compatibility list but not debugged as of my observations over the past 4 days. I do not believe the functionality and monitoring of UPS status can be counted on at this time and therefore there is no ability for the NAS to monitor UPS status and execute a proper shutdown based on UPS status. Still viable to plug into a UPS but the NAS currently is not likely to interface nice with it.

I have a powerwalker UPS that is also on the list of approved UPS and terramaster TOS 5 and TOS 6 all versions to date never worked properly with the UPS you can set the TNAS as server it will work for a short time then it will stop working

I installed NUT server on another PC and tested the UPS and it works flawlessly. The issue is with terramaster TOS

F4-423 and Powercom Wow-500u (compatible list) UPS keeps losing connection to TOS over and over again. The message 'TOS 6.0.577'(6.0.610) appears. Can you help?

I check wow-500u on another PC linux and windows and it is working but TNAS ... :(

I'm having the same problem, on TOS 6 this problem still exists. Brand new UPS, works fine with Synology NAS. Please fix this issue.

Edit: Also when selecting waiting time before TNAS shutdown let say 5 minutes, it turns off without any warning after those 5 minutes. Even though power hasn't been disconnected, just TNAS losing the connection it seems.
