I'm having issues updating to the latest TOS. It will not online update, and when I try manual update it gets to the unzip and then just stops.

this is just my thought, i can see you are running a fairly old version 4.1.24 it might be worth trying to step install the versions rather than just going for the latest one? that might help?

Is it possible to let our engineer check it remotely? You can send an email to [email protected] to confirm it.

SMB / CIFS reverted back to workgroup
AFP Reenabled
FTP Reenabled
Rsync setttings reset
TELNET / SSH reenabled

PLEASE SORT THESE ISSUES OUT!
I have to agree. This needs to be fixed. These settings need to be unchanged when updating.

Also, UPnP and Bonjour are reenabled after updating.

Thanks.

Thanks for posting this. Here's to hoping this will now solve my fifth day straight of not being able to access anything on my NAS. I've been going through my windows settings, updating and reverting my router, etc. etc.

I really wish I had never bought this NAS from you guys, and will definitely be letting every one I know who uses these devices you guys are releasing software that disables important settings. I mean, it's not like we entrust important data to be stored safely on these things.

Boo. I boo you.
