The problem is completely ignored.

The current media indexing behavior in this TOS version is by design. It performs a full scan and sends a notification upon every reboot or system startup. While we acknowledge this may cause inconvenience, we have plans to optimize this experience in the upcoming TOS 7 release. However, there are no plans to modify this behavior in the current version. Temporary workaround:​​ You can disable notifications for this module in the notification settings page.

Upcoming‽ Is this the first time there's been public acknowledgement of TOS 7?

When will the private and public testing begin for it, will this be on both ×86/×64 and ARM/aarch64 TNAS series devices & which devices (if any) will be dropped from support due to the new numeric release?
