The current media indexing behavior in this TOS version is by design. It performs a full scan and sends a notification upon every reboot or system startup. While we acknowledge this may cause inconvenience, we have plans to optimize this experience in the upcoming TOS 7 release. However, there are no plans to modify this behavior in the current version.
