Hi! Is there a chance to make backup of face recognition results?

Good morning,
this morning the TERRAMASTER support solved the problem for me. THANKS A LOT!
Now the system is indexing faces, too.

Really I consider it a workaround but, they told me that it should be fixed in a future release.
Basically the system was unable to generate thumbnails for areas shared by users other than superuser. The solution was to move all my photos and videos to the "Volume1\homes\superuser\photos" folder owned by the superuser user. Then, regenerate the thumbnails.

At this point, however, I have an additional question:

my "Volume1\@thumbnail" folder has reached almost 60G of size. It contains files and folders older then a month and therefore I think they are old thumbnails no longer used as I am regenerating them again today.

Is there a way to delete the old thumbnails without causing damage?
Just to save space?

The path /Volume1/@thumbnail/ is the thumbnail cache directory. Deleting this directory will clear the thumbnail cache, but it will also remove the new thumbnails, requiring the index to be rebuilt and thumbnails to be regenerated. The command to delete the thumbnail cache is rm -r /Volume1/@thumbnail

Thanks. I noticed that characters as under scores or spaces in the folder name give some problem in the generation of the thumbnails. Hope this info could help someone having problem to generate thumbnails as me.

I can’t switch on faces recognition, because for some reason, the system thinks that I do not have the Internet. On what basis she does it? Perhaps there is no access to some domain? What domains does she check?
