Regarding the image pull issues caused by the Docker version, such as certificate errors and connection timeouts, we have identified and pinpointed the related problems. To address these issues, we plan to release an updated version of Docker in the near future. Please stay tuned for application update notifications in the system to upgrade to the latest version promptly.
That's great news! Looking forward for that!

What is your system version? Currently, Docker version 20.17.10 has been released for TOS 4. You can check the app center to see if there is a prompt for an updated version.

That's wonderful! I checked just now and indeed there is a Docker update available.
Installing it now...

So, does it work? Not one Docker works for me. Portainer, Firefox, jdownloader... nothing. Page is not found. Terramaster... this NAS F4 210 is a load of garbage. Apart from SMB, nothing works at all. Can you make me an offer for an F4 223? You only read about problems here, there are no solutions. That can't be right!!!
Und? Funktioniert es? Bei mir funktioniert nicht ein Docker. Portainer, Firefox, jdownloader... nichts. Seite wird nicht gefunden. Terramaster... dieses NAS F4 210 ist ein haufen Müll. Ausser SMB funktioniert genau gar nichts. Können sie mir ein Angebot für ein F4 223 machen? Man liest hier nur von Problemen, Lösungen gibt es nicht. Das kann doch nicht sein!!!

F4-210 has provided a new Docker app version that can display and download images.
Please update or reinstall the app. If it still doesn't work, maybe you can check your network settings.
If you need F4-223, you can consult the customer service window on the official homepage.

So, does it work?
Yes, it works for me.
After updating the docker application I see as "docker info":
Code: Select all
root@TNAS-FF:/home/f18m# docker info
Client:
Context: default
Debug Mode: false
Server:
Containers: 3
Running: 1
Paused: 0
Stopped: 2
Images: 8
Server Version: 20.10.17
....
The docker version is indeed 20.10.17 and I can docker pull any image I tried so far...

Hello, F18m ...

could you please try for me if you can get this Docker to run successfully?
https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/doublecommander
That would be an application that would somehow make this box usable. The supplied “file browser” can't really do anything. It can't even tell you how long it will take to copy something, or how fast it is going.
Thank you in advance.
Hallo, F18m ... mitleidender

könntest du eventuell für mich bitte probieren ob du diesen Docker erfolgreich zum laufen bringst?
https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/doublecommander

hey @daphill,
I see that the doublecommander docker image is provided for arm64v8 architecture.
Indeed I can pull the docker image without any problem from my F2-210 (which is ARM64 architecture).
But you need to update the Docker application first. Here's how I did that:
1. I logged into the web UI of my TNAS
2. I clicked on "Applications" icon on the desktop
3. I clicked "Installed" on the left and then the "Docker" application
4. You should have an "Upgrade" button at the top... just click it
Hope this helps

Hello @F18m,
I have to apologize, I was a bit unfortunate with the question. So from Dockers itself there is no problem, apart from dealing with other languages, but well...

. The latest version is installed. I still can't get Portainer updated. So I was able to pull the package from Doublecomander too, ...now I would be even more interested if you could get it to work? Since Firefox also works (arm64v8), it should also work with the Doublecommander, do you know an alternative? Unfortunately I don't get to see a graphical interface. I have changed the port, because otherwise it could get in the way with Firefox...? Best regards from Berlin, Phill
Hallo @F18m,
