Kinda new to all of this. Got Tailscale installed on my Terramaster F2-221, got it authenticated on my Tailscale Acct. It's showing as running on my NAS, but Tailscale app on my phone and website show the server offline. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Was able to set this up by following the the tailscale exit node directions for linux -https://tailscale.com/kb/1103/exit-nodes?tab=linux. This will require SSH-ing into the server, and adding the two ip forwarding configs to the sysctl.conf file. Afterwards, you need to advertise it as a exit-node, and approve it in the admin tailscale console.

Check the logs, but if it shows that it's connected on the tailscale console you should be good. Just make sure you specify the matching port of your corresponding app on your NAS server when using the mapped IP. For example, my NAS runs the TOS GUI on port 8181, so you'll need to use the "<tailscale machine's ip>:8181" in the browser -- that confused me for a bit since the NAS redirects to the local url if you don't specify the port, which appears it's offline or unreachable.

Hello @outkastm

Will you please update the Tailscale app to the latest BETA version for the F2-210? I believe it's TOS4 & Arm v8. If you don't feel like doing the beta will you please at least do the latest stable? Many thanks to you for your work!!

Side note: Is there a way or are there instructions for how to compile this for TOS4+ArmV8 on our own?

Great the app works,

how do you advertise subnet routes on using the app? has anyone tried this?

The TOS6 version of this breaks my WAN connection. It works fine at first but it eventually kicks me completely off of my internet. Once I power cycle my network equipment and start my NAS back up it tells me that my WAP is "disconnected" I have done two fresh installs of TOS6 and the second install Tailscale was the only application I had installed.

Both fresh installs had the exact same experience, initially worked fine, internet for entire house stops working, power cycle network, WAP disconnected.

I know this is either a Tailscale or TOS6 issue because I had it running perfect on my TOS 5.1 with no compatibility problem and my internet never got kicked off.

I'm sorry. I am not very good with networking stuff. Could you tell me what I should be searching Google for to find tutorials on how to do this? I appreciate any help!
