In this situation, the HDD that has dropped out of the RAID is likely no longer accessible. Please remove this HDD and check it on your PC.

How com the HDD does not work from one moment to another, when the disk was rated as "good" ? I do accept the fact, the HDD was re-certified and maybe it is my risk to use it, but I found it strange it dies on me, without any warning. Anyhow, today I get my brand new Toshiba N300 10TB HDD. Hope I can just plug it in and repair my RAID, as on the last to HDD upgrades it only worked with heavy support from Terramaster.

update :72 hours Raid repair, 3.5 hours of Tech Support and still not running correctly ! I just thought a server can run on its own, but this is heavy IT stuff ! I am a user not a tekkie. Kudos to Frank, who is patient genius ! It seems he will save my data !

I am a user and no Tekkie. I can not program, so I need to trust the Tech Support, they know their business and first I did not have the impression from Frank, but he convinced me with his actions ! Sure Terramaster is a relatively new company in comparison to QNAP and Synology, so things might get wrong, but it also should be much smoother ! Also learned my lesson and will not trust TRIAD, but gold old fashion mirroring ! Lost some TB on storage, but hey, my data should be relatively save.

Well update 02.05.2025 The 10TB disk finally synced and I could reinstall my apps, which includes Plex. Now Plex is not finding any of the folders with movies or TV series. Additionally I can not open anymore the LIVE Chat, so communication with Terramaster gets even more dificult

I'm trying to repair a RAID1 array as my HDD2 failed. I bought a new 4Tb drive and have plugged it in. But I can't see how to repair the raid. HDD2 can only be config'd as a TRAID or Single in the Storage Pool. I had to upgrade to TOS5 from 4 before I put in the new drive. But can't see how to get the two drives to mirror.
