Not in a hurry to update 1140 since 1130 is working fine for me, I hope they will fix the problem that Plex server can not access the files in an attached USB drive without the requirement to create a storage pool (single drive) and a new volume before Plex server can access those files. ie have to back up all the files in that USB drive and transfer it back after the new volume is created.
The issue has been fixed and is expected to be included in the release scheduled for next week.

which release is that? the one that goes out automatically to the nas drives, or the one that is the week after that?

You can try downloading this installation package, manually installing it in the App Center, mounting the USB drive, restarting the multimedia software, and then rescanning.
Storage Manager installation package:

Thanks but I finally storage pool each drive in the D4-320 as single drive and then created a volume, the Plex server on F4-424 can now see them without problem. Finished my update, F4-424 plus two D4-320 replaced my Mele Quieter 2W J4125 with Synology DS413 and Asustor AS1004T, everthing works fine especially with 4K video, it is way better than my old setup.
By the way I connected a Orico 9728C3 before I bought the second D4-320, only problem with the Orico is it will not sleep, maybe if i storage pool its drive it will but bought the second D4-320 instead. Not even sure if F4-424 will storage pool HDD in Orico since I heard Terramaster only allow to storage pool their own brand of DAS.

isn't this system a little complicated having two different releases in the same week?

I have 7.0.1130 version. And write "Current system is the latest version"
if you read right at the top of this thread they explain the "Phase1" and "Phase2"
we are still in "Phase1" of this update, and wont eligible for updates until next week by which time they are releasing a new version to Phase 1 of another version (already confirmed) but then you will have to wait another week for it to be available as an online update
hope that clears things up

In this version, the sleep function of both NAS systems is working as usual again. Although there is no mention of this in the update notes, it is finally working again.

SyncThing doesn’t launch after the update — how can this be fixed?
