The hard drive temperature displayed on the "Overview" page reflects the highest temperature among all hard drives, and this cannot be altered through configuration changes.

OK, that explains it. Thanks for the quick response.

On the prior TOS 6.0.229 it stayed on my HDD1, so I assumed that was the default.

may I suggest in the GUI that the "Power Off" button and the "Logout" button not be next to one another... on can very easily miss-click and power off the NAS instead of logging out...

and possibly give them some colour or other distinction to make each more obvious.

I do think there's something big wrong with this newer version of TOS 6: even a simple copy to my storage pool, with no additional processes, increases loading from 3-4% to 30-40% and CPU from 1% to even 50%. This makes every transfer painfully slow, something like 5-10 MB/sec.

I agree with this, for me especially over SMB. I am on .436 and copying large files from Windows over SMB causes the CPU to max out and ultimately kills the transfer process. Aside from the CPU and Docker issues though, .436 has been running fairly smoothly compared to .420

Hello guys. I have an F2-221 Model.

But I'm confused because you mention this about the F2-221:
Due to hardware limitations, some older models are unable to update to TOS 6
But you also mention that applicable Models include the F2-221.
So I wonder if it's possible to update or not. If so, how could I check the manufacturing date?

I appreciate your help. Regards

I personally don't agree with this statement. First of all, the icons for shutdown and logout have distinct appearances. Secondly, each icon has a tooltip for clarification. Lastly, even if the wrong icon is clicked, there is a secondary confirmation popup. Therefore, I believe the possibility of misoperation due to arrangement is very, very low.

You can determine the manufacturing date by checking the S/N code sticker on the body of the device.
