Interesting info.

I still think giving the option to install inside an drive specified by user could be a good option, there are even SSD M.2 mounted in a USB case that could be used, so as an option I think it’s not bad.

But I get your point towards simple USB drives. :)

I am having issues with this update not connecting to trackers in qbittorrent docker as well as my plex server disappearing. I have tried to reinstall docker and portainer again and delete all files but I still get the connection error for trackers. Please help!

Unfortunately, the short cable, drive used & its enclosure do add additional points of failure to the device, as well as added power draw as well as heat (if mounted internally; not much of an issue if external) into an already compact NAS enclosure.

They could definitely consider allowing it as an option for those ready and willing to forgo support.

I don't think so. Your 'backup' volume will automatically be configured with the 2 GB system partition which is a raid-1 mirror. When reinstalled as per your suggestion that raid will be degraded (even if it boots)

> how can i recovery my without losing it after i broke my system (from .33 to .37)? I've also seen this message when reinstalling. But never lose data, i think it's a bit misleading. I think if the disks have wrong partitions, they will be repartioned and you lose the data, if the partition scheme is TNAS it only installs the system to the /-partition and data are untouched. Noticed that there's a newer 5.1.50 build available for the ARM based 211 device series @ https://support.terra-master.com/downlo ... uct=F2-211 (plus a mention of yet to be released 212 device series) … is there another release for ×64 imminent as well?

x64 system keeps updating. But version number between x64 and ARM could be slightly different. ARM series will not get special preferential treatment, please relax and pay attention to our update notice.
