Adjusting the fan to the maximum speed is just a temporary solution. In view of your current abnormal fever, please turn on the debug mode, restart the device when the fault occurs, and download the debug log to support(at)terra-master.com, and we will further analyze it.
By the way, what is the model of SSD you are using?

I would like to know which model of SSD you are currently using that is experiencing this issue, and also what your TOS version is. If it is not the latest version, we recommend upgrading to 6.0.794 to see if there is any improvement. Additionally, if it’s convenient for you, could you generate a system report and send it to us?

After setting the fan speed to maximum, the system still experiences crashes. We preliminarily suspect that this may be caused by compatibility issues between the M.2 SSD and the system. For further investigation, please provide the specific brand and model of the M.2 SSD, as well as the version number of the current TOS system in use. Based on this information, we will arrange targeted verification tests.

It seems that this SSD model is compatible with NAS. As for the specific SSD health status, I suggest putting it on hold for now.
Regarding the 'freeze' you mentioned, it might just be a temporary issue caused by high load. Please connect an HDMI monitor and a USB keyboard. When the 'freeze' occurs again, check if you can log in to the HDMI monitor and perform any operations.
You may consider waiting until media indexing and other potentially unknown high-load processes are completed.
If you plan to let the NAS experience anomalies in Debug mode and obtain logs to send to the support email, please remember to mention the URL of this post.

It is recommended to choose a heat sink with a thickness of no more than 3mm.
