TOS 6 SMB unable to write, still gets (sys_get_quota) error

OK, I have done that for now, and will be sharing how well (or not) this works. For the moment, using NFS to connect appears to provide more reliable connectivity -- but configuring an NFS connection, properly, is not for the faint of heart.
