I would suggest in the interim maybe some double sided tape on the underside of the nvme or, possibly some 'velcro' if it's not too thick. If you need a long term solution maybe a very fine dremel (other brands are available) cut across the top of the screw stub (and locator) might allow the stub to be removed with a small, flat bladed jeweller's screwdriver. i wasnt sure if i would be creating some kind of fire risk if i was to stick it down like that, its definitely a job for another day when i want to use that 2nd slot or until it niggles at me too much to do a proper job :) its currently being used as a family minecraft server so a single m2 is all it really needs until i think of another job for it
