Hi Alaster I’ve seen that issue before. It’s often caused by the NAS or router dropping SSL redirection, or the web server config forcing HTTP.

A few things to try: (it's is my personal advice for you)
    Ensure your TerraMaster is set up with a valid SSL certificate (Let’s Encrypt or custom).
      Check the web service settings so “redirect HTTP → HTTPS” is enabled.
        If using a reverse proxy or firewall, make sure it’s forwarding HTTPS correctly.
        Did you manage to access the NAS web interface over HTTPS at all (even temporarily)?
