I've successfully restored 5.1.145 to my F5-221, but I really want 6.x. The last working version I've tested is TOS_X642.0_Update_6.0.530_00148_2410300306

My F4-421 cannot be updated to version 6.0.530 due to the BIOS/InitBoot version. When will those of us with older BIOS versions be able to install TOS6? Is a specific version for our case being worked on?

Thanks.

I have:
TERRAMASTER F5-422 5-Bay 10GbE NAS CPU Quad-Core 8GB RAM - May 2022
TerraMaster F5-420 NAS Server 5-Bay Intel Quad Core 2.0GHz 4GB RAM May 2018

for the F5-420
viewtopic.php?t=6984
from here I Followed all the step
Update sequence: (TOS 4.2.44---TOS 5.0.XX) → TOS 5.0.176 → TOS 5.1.24 → (TOS 5.1.145---6.0.229) → TOS 6.0.530 → Latest version of TOS 6

but is stuck from TOS 5.1.24 to TOS 5.1.145 uploading the software package... 83%

Image

1) how to solve this? is from yesterday
2) if I understand I cannot upgrade to TOS 6, right?

TNAS F5-422
as it was bought in May 2022 should be upgraded, right?
thanks in advance

You can check the following aspects and let us know the results, which will help us identify the cause of the problem:
Check if there is sufficient remaining storage space.
Check if the system partition is 8GB.
Check if there is a network issue.

Hello, based on the information you provided, since your TOS system partition is only 2GB and considering the hardware limitations of the 420 series models, your device currently does not support upgrading to TOS 6.
