No the F8 is only M2 NVME, the connector is different anyways.
I reckon I used a mix of brand new ones and older ones, and that threw me.
Out of the 3 512 GB, only one performs at 1 GB/s (checked with dd), whereas the 2 x 1 TB both perform at 1 GB/s too.
So I'll receibe 2 x brand news 512 saturday, will replace one after the other not to lose any data and I'll recheck, it should be fixed.
I must admit seeing the copy running at 1 GB/s was amazing for a 500€ device.

I'm so disappointed.
I received today the 2 brand news patriot NVME after the engineer said that 2 out of 3 were weak.
I replaced and rebuilt the raid, and the performance is absolutely the same, AWFUL.

It starts good at 300MBPS then quickly drops and stays at 70.

Guess I lost my money by buying this NAS

You can try to take out the NVMe drive and perform a detailed performance test on it. At the same time, in the TOS system, please check the network bandwidth of the TNAS device.

I would replace the USB and try with DSM - if the performance is good, then it is an TOS Bug and/or setting.
If the performance is bad, then it can be an hardware/firmware/bios issue.
You can try TrueNAS and OMV, to test the SSDs too, if ARC Loader DSM is too complicated to setup for you.

Hello
2 apparently faulty nvme replaced with brand new patriot P300
First tests gave the same apalling throuput.....
I decided to give it some time, and tried the next morning, and I now have roughly 300 MB/s whitouh any drop.
Considering the NAS is only PCI 3 x 1 I'm not sure I can have much more, but it satisfies me.
