Sorry, we are unable to determine which models can be adapted. We will fix this issue as soon as possible and recommend that you wait for the release of subsequent versions.

Can this version of TOS6 now work with the F4-424 Pro? I am on 5.1.145. If so, putting which models this now works on, especially, if they have not had TOS6 would be very convienent to the users.
I suspect you are barking up the wrong tree at the moment. See the new caveat at top of first post:
Note:In version TOS 6.0.531, we have verified and confirmed that certain models display abnormal information for CPU temperature, device temperature, and fan speed. As a result, we have suspended the rollout of TOS 6.0.531. For affected models, we recommend temporarily setting the fan speed to medium. We will fix this bug as soon as possible and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding.
For the moment the only update path might be:

Not saying this is for certain as I have only done this on a vanilla install of 5.1.145 with no apps/users/configuration but that update to 6.0.530 was relatively smooth. At the time (before the caveat was released) the nas performed auto update to 6.0.531 where the noted problem was confirmed. Since then the auto update function has been deferred.

i was told that i posted this in the wrong thread so duping to here
i can not get lacp performance out of this. i have proven the windows server to provide 2gb to other clients however i cant push/pull data to the f6-424max
the best i can get is only one nics worth of performance. i have tried each of the bind options, both with and without lacp attempted. i have also tried with the server out of lacp and just trying to smb multi channel route. still no possible configuration seems to work to make this go past 1gb
i know my fabric can do that band width i have also played the cable game, i believe it to be configuration related as the tnas never tries to use the other nic and it holds it right at the capacity of that nic.
6xred 18TB in TRAID+ these drives them self in single disk configuration are more than enough to saturate a single 1gb/s (125MB/s) link as these drives will do 220MB/s on large sequential writes. if we are conservative and say that 2 drives are parity and not used for reading striping then that leaves us 4 drives so 880MB/s or roughly 7gb/s

Maybe this discussion might add some clarity. I don't know the nitty-gritty of the algorithm.

agreed on single streams/ however if i try to do multiple copy operations they all still only use the one nic and not the second so the copy operations cuts down from 110~ to 50/50
contrast windows server to windows clients i will be able to hit 1.7~gb/s
so given the single stream conundrum them i said ok well this thing supports SMB3 multi-channel. so i reconfigured the server to just be straight ports and the tsa to be straight ports, removed the lacp configuration on the switch. and still only one nic was used

maybe look at the Hash Mode. I see that as using all those factors to determine the connection. So a single copy op will use a single port combo, on a single NIC, for a specific Lan-ip for a specific MAC. Open another operation and that may have a different factor set.
Can't speak to Windows clients since I only use Win10 and that does not support LACP. Not sure about Windows 11 but I did see some bad reports at one time.

figured it out.... so dropped lacp to try SMB multi channel again and it wasnt working..... i then created DNS entries for the terra master on both interfaces ... and now multi channel is working
