From the description of the post owner and the attachment (although the attachment is no longer visible), we can basically determine it as TOS4.
The storage structure of TOS4 may have some compatibility issues when running TOS5. Therefore, to ensure stability, if users have been using TOS4 before, we recommend installing and using TOS4 on new devices.
I understand your concerns and will try to add some necessary prerequisite descriptions.

Your old NAS may have a CPU problem, this is a common defect of Intel J1800 processors where the LPC bus clock is damaged.
Try this simple solution, it's not a permanent repair but at least it will allow you to rip the data if it works.
I had a similar problem (power on but no LAN light and red disk lights) and this solution helped.

Sorry for invading your topic, I have been in the same situation since last Sunday. And I absolutely have to access the data that is in RAID5.
I don't have the option of soldering resistors, so the only solution is to try on a new Nas (model F5-422 or F4-423 would be valid?), puncture my disks in Raid5 and then reinstall the TOS4.x that I had running for my F4 -220?
Or can I access the information (important not to lose it) in another way and then see what device I use?
Thanks and sorry for the intrusion

Another question, would it be possible to use a DAS device (type D4-300 or D5-300C) to insert the Raid5 disks that come from the failed F4-220 and connect them to another NAS like one of the above and dump the information without having to reinstall TOS versions or other unclear processes?
Would DAS devices read the disks without problems and could the information be accessed?
Thx

The DAS device cannot read the disk data in F4-220.

the option is:
Disk on Raid5 --> DAS DEVICE
Read the data on DAS Device connect to other NAS DEVICE (F4-221 or similar) with our disks and the TOS system version i have in my F4-220
Extract the data from DAS
but from what you say it is not possible option.

Surely your simplest option would be to obtain a used F4-220 (ebay or similar, cheap) and run your disks on that AND MAKE A BACKUP! Then consider your options for the future.
