After some research I found that secure erase is issued with a password. So the password that locks my drives is one known by terramaster since it was set at the start of the secure erase and would presumably be reset at the end (that never happened). Some details here:

In case of ther NAS manufacturers they unlocked drives in similar situations using their passwords. I won't name any but there are details to be found on the internet of support guys ssh-ing and fixing the issue or even the affected customers getting the password so they can unlock the drives.
So @TMzethar please let me know what can i do to unlock the drives. I would gladly offer remote access or do the thing myself if I'd get the temp password used by the TOS for secure erase. These two drives cost more than the NAS, please help guys
