Just noticed that the email that was sent out by Joanne for the insider preview leaked participants' email address by not using BCC. It's rather unfortunate that secure email etiquette wasn't followed.

Let me check with the marketing team.

Just confirmed that Due to the negligence of members of the team, some users' email addresses were copied to an email. We have realized the mistake and will correct it next time. Sorry!

So far so good: manually updated to 5.1.95, then to the TOS 6.0.108 preview... simply like a breeze.
To be noted that - before I manually updated - the automatic update of TOS still gave me the 5.1.67 as latest version.

I had the same issue as @davidecavestro (did not offer to upgrade me to 5.1.95, did it manually) and the rest went relatively well.

I deleted the NVME M.2 Hyper Cache I had setup for my main Volume as noted in the upgrade instructions but when upgraded to TOS 6 the NVME was visible but could not re-create the Hyper Cache.

After some failed tries of deleting that NVME from the settings, I had to disassemble the NAS (F4-423), remove the NVME, install it in my PC and delete the Partition on it. I then reinstalled the NVME back in the NAS, powered-on and then I could recreate the Hyper Cache as I had it in the prior TOS 5.

Not a big deal but thought I would mention it in case someone else has a similar issue.

Otherwise, TOS 6 is working great for me.

Otherwise, TOS 6 is working great for me.

You do not need to remove your NVMe drives, you can unmount the NVMe drives, and "Wipe Drive" before you can create a new Hyper cache. We will fix this issue in future releases.

A short feedback on the current beta.
-> The sidebar with the widgets (CPU, network, memory) appears empty. No matter if Mac, iPad or Windows. No widget appears and I can't add any.

-> The animations in the menu are very nicely designed. But they are too slow, double speed would be better. Whether the individual categories on the left (Volume,Hardware,…) or the tabs at the top (Account, certificates,…) of a category. All are too slow.

-> The "all apps" icon is too inconspicuous and does not stand out. It should be the first one and then the apps follow.

-> When you open programs, the icon flies in from the left. this looks strange and looks wrong.

-> I have noticed that the main user (Admin) has no access rights to subfolders when connecting the NAS under MacOS 14.1. Only after disconnecting and reconnecting can I access the subfolders. I cannot test Windows as I do not have any Windows devices.

-> Also, I cannot download updates from TOS 6. When searching, the message appears that I do not have an active Internet connection. Where can I find updates?

Successful update for F2-422 and F2-423. No problems.

Installation went OK. I have noticed the stricter disk checks popping up warnings that weren't there in 5.

I did have to reinstall apps like web server and USB copy as their pages just gave an empty window. On login, it seems a little slow to populate the homepage but nothing too major.

How do we get updates when released, are they sent by an e-mail link again?

Just noticed my webserver has stopped working. It was working after the initial upgrade but today, I can't connect, I haven't changed any settings. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and rebooting the device and router. In system info/ports, it doesn't show as listening on the configured port.

Anyone else had it stop working or have any suggestions what to try?
