Thanks for the reply. So there is hope. Unfortunately, I don't know what info to supply to create an Rsync task in TOS to connect to this USB share folder. I tried to specify the router IP (192.168.1.2) and the router username/password but when I click test I get a "Connection failed. Connection refused" error. I'm guessing the router (older one running AdvancedTomato) doesn't have an rsync server capability or SMB/NFS. Darnit.crisisacting wrote: ↑02 Aug 2023, 10:34 Rsync is already built-in on TOS so as long as that shared folder via USB on your router is using SMB or NFS as its protocol, you could configure backup to transfer to that, over your network, during off-peak hours.
