Issues with hardware transcoding have been reported to the plex team. Need to wait for them to deal with it.

the problem is that no transcoding problems have been reported since tos4 and that only tos5 is impacted. I would like to go back to tos4 but no one can guarantee me that the downgrade from tos5 to 4 can do this without losing giving.

Essaye ça pour ma par sa à fonctionner.
Sa reviens bien à un problème interne à notre bon vieux TOS 5… Mais le support ne veux rien faire.

Hi Fantasstiicck, I am equally frustrated not having HW transcoding with TOS 5. Have taken the risk and rolled back to TOS 4 as I would rather have a decent Plex server than a slick looking NAS OS.
FYI, I did not lose any data

J’ai aussi pris ce risque cependant l’application Plex ne ce lançait pas malgré tous les efforts sur TOS 4.2
J’ai n’ai pas d’autre choix que limité les accès au Plex et attendre le correctif pour TOS 5.
Le plus frustrant c’est que TM ou Plex ce renvoi la balle et personne ne gère le problème.
N’oubliez que nous payons TM et Plex pour ces fonctions !

Agree. Its frustrating. Terramaster sell this NAS heavily on the basis that it is a good Plex server with hardware transcoding. I would not have bought this if it didn't. Its a bit deceptive to be honest

Yes 100% agree. I do not recommend this material for the moment.

mais que fait le support ????
Mon NAS qui est utilisé comme serveur PLEX pour chez moi n'est d'aucune utilité... J'hésite a le renvoyer chez Amazon et partir chez Synology.
